Univariate Theory of Functional Connections Applied to Component Constraints

چکیده

This work presents a methodology to derive analytical functionals, with embedded linear constraints among the components of vector (e.g., coordinates) that is function single variable time). prepares background necessary for indirect solution optimal control problems via application Pontryagin Maximum Principle. The presented part univariate Theory Functional Connections has been developed solve constrained optimization problems. To increase clarity and practical aspects proposed method, mostly examples applications rather than rigorous mathematical definitions proofs.

Solving Univariate P-adic Constraints

We describe an algorithm for solving systems of univariate p-adic constraints. In analogy with univariate real constraints, we formalize univariate p-adic constraints as univariate polynomial equations and order comparisons between p-adic values of univariate polynomials. Systems of constraints are arbitrary boolean combinations of such constraints. Our method combines techniques of Presburger ...

Double-hybrid density-functional theory applied to molecular crystals.

We test the performance of a number of two- and one-parameter double-hybrid approximations, combining semilocal exchange-correlation density functionals with periodic local second-order Møller-Plesset (LMP2) perturbation theory, for calculating lattice energies of a set of molecular crystals: urea, formamide, ammonia, and carbon dioxide. All double-hybrid methods perform better on average than ...

Time-dependent density functional theory applied to superfluid nuclei

We describe the response of superfluid nuclei to any external time-dependent probe within an extension of the density functional theory, the time-dependent superfluid local density approximation (TD-SLDA). All quasi-particle wave functions (qpwfs) are represented on a threedimensional spatial grid to allow for the breaking of all possible symmetries, and subsequently these functions are evolved...

applying transitivity theory to gender analysis of efl textbook: : a comparative study.

efl/esl textbooks have been regarded as essential language teaching materials with which the learners spend about 70 up to 90 percent of their class time. the important role they play and their vast use make them not only influential in learning the language but also in shaping values and attitudes. put it another way, textbooks socialize learners using their contents (i.e. texts, illustrations...

applied concepts of affordance theory, from psychology to design process

the interaction between users and products, is one of the key factors in design process and assessment of products too. because design for user’s perception, is a specific and technical issue. designers refer to psychology and psychological theories to understand how on the one hand, form and other physical characteristics, and on the other hand, user intentions and values, affect the interacti...
